Compliment VS Object

How can distinguish compliment and object

S + V + C (subject + verb + compliment)

S + V + O (subject + verb + object)

S + V + C

I am a doctor ( I = doctor)

She will become a singer (she = singer)

They remain close friends (They = close friends)

The noun after verb will explain the subject complimentary

So it is called “subject compliment” of course there is object compliment as well

S +V +O

I love you (I ≠ you)

She write a poem (She ≠ poem)

They want ice cream (They ≠ ice cream)

Usually

Be  , Become  , remain  appear seem  turn out prove~

Look sound smell taste feel etc

has compliment not object
